This is probably a dumb question, but what are pingbacks? Do I need to do anything about them? Is there any pingback ettiquete I need to be aware of?

A pingback is a notification that someone on the internet created an entry that linked to one of your posts. It is just telling you about it and shows up like a comment in your post. It is a way of “continuing the discussion” as someone else is talking about something similar to you as they linked to your post as reference.

It’s easy enough, just click the “Join Now” button on the home page (upper right). Create a profile for yourself, then you can add your business profile (or several).
How do we remove an email address from our listing?
There are no email addresses associated with a particular business listing – the email address is associated with the person who created the listing. Since the email address is that person’s login, there isn’t any way to “remove it” short of completely deleting that person’s account. Email addresses are not displayed to visitors anywhere on the directory.
I’ve been trying to add my listing since June, and it’s still not online. What do I need to do to get my listing approved and online? I keep on checking, but nothing’s changed.
I checked for a listing (approved or not) under your user name (Familybg) and I cannot find any record of a submitted listing. I’m not sure what happened, but if you submitted a listing, it never made it to the system. The only thing I can suggest is to resubmit a new listing under your Familybg username and I will keep a look out for it.

I thought the user profile was the business listing, but you have to click on the “Post an Ad”
button to actually put on a listing. I’m not a programmer, so Post an Ad means something different than add your business listing to me. Maybe you should change the name of that link. Anyway, I Posted an Ad, so now I’m just waiting for it to be approved.

You’re right, I had that button customization before, but a security update to the template changed it back to a default “Post Ad”. I’ve probably looked at that button a bazillion times and it didn’t register that it had changed back. I will get into the code again and change it to a more understandable “Add Listing”. Thank you for the suggestion.
Hi – I just posted an ad and want to make an edit. Cannot find the option for that.
Also – I had two photos I thought I downloaded, but they are not on my ad.
Login to your account and select the “My Dashboard” link at the top. If you don’t see the link then try here: http://www.sacbusiness.com/dashboard/
You should be able to edit any ad/listing that you have placed (under that user name).
I haven’t had anyone else mention having problems uploading photos, so try it again, and if you have problems, please let me know.
